To measure this various companies did some research for the past few years. According to the research done by Limited press, 80% of likes that ads receiving are from fake accounts. For this, they used their algorithm. They also revealed that some Facebook account is controlled by bots without a human touch.
These impressions are just the likes and clicks that are not of any use for the publisher.
When considering the above fact it needs to think twice before going to put an ad on Facebook. These issues may be a reason for bankrupt the Facebook Inc. Because the whole company runs by the profit of advertisements.
